Manager Finance - Account Payable

Synopsis

The finance manager within the accounts payable team is the subject matter expert for the entire DOC within the airline business. The main responsibility is to ensure that the organization's financial reporting and payment to vendors are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

Accountabilities

• DOC accrual finalization: Ensure quality review of all DOC accruals and completeness within the management reporting timelines.
• DOC analysis: Submit cost drill comparison analysis with reasoning between MOM & actual vs budget.
• DOC aging: Monitor all DOC schedule balances and ensure aging within acceptable period.
• AP control: Monitor quality checks toward invoice reconciliation & approval process.
• Invoice TAT: Track the compliance and ensure mitigation in place maintaining the TAT.
• Stakeholders relationship: Maintain robust & effective coordination with all stakeholders.
• Handling escalations: Prompt resolving of any escalations avoiding operational criticality & fixing gaps to avoid repeated scenarios.
• Audit: Support and provide all audit requirements, maintain nil high-risk findings.
• Other time to time management priority projects to be performed.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or 7+ years of experience without a degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in GL & accounts payable (preferable airline/travel industry).
• ERP solution (SAP) experience.
• Leadership and team management.
• Strong understanding of DOC & accounts payable processes.
• Excellent communication skill.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
