Job description / Role
My client is a rapidly growing project developer and IPP company within the Solar Energy market, based in the UAE. They operate in a variety of renewable energy markets across the Middle East and Africa, targeting projects in multi-megawatt solar PV and CSP. As a smaller company, they're agile and quick to react to market gaps and boast a very open management structure which allows employees to grow and gain valuable experience in a variety of departments.
They're presently looking to talk to native French speakers (owing to the markets in which they operate this is a non-negotiable requirement), who focus on Financial Analysis and Modelling, preferably within the power or renewable energy sector. The role will be reporting in to the structured finance manager and will carry responsibility for the regions financial analysis and strategic finance capabilities, covering regions like the GCC and Africa. There is an element of team management involved in the role, which will focus on driving existing finance professionals in the team as well as proposing new strategies and ideas to assist in the growth of the company.
Requirements
The right candidate will speak fluent French (again, this is mandatory), have an established background in Finance with a particular ability to interpret and construct financial models, and have around 3-4 years experience in either the power or oil and gas sector. A degree qualification is also mandatory, and some experience in a big 4 company would be preferential.
