Job purpose

The Business Operations Manager within Business Enablement department will be responsible for all commercial operations management for ICT solutions S/He is responsible to develop competitive business strategies and drive operational excellence across ICT Commercial. The incumbent will define strategic directions and provide leadership, develop strong relationships with delivery team and ensure all business goals and objectives are reached.

She/He will drive all commercial initiatives to successful outcomes as BAU (Business-As-Usual) activities and kicking off internal programs when required. The role holder will also lead and manage assigned ad-hoc commercial programs and projects, accelerate differentiating innovation capabilities enabling rapid development of new opportunities, Proof-of-concepts and handover of large bids to deliver teams. The role holder needs to ensure revenue realization for ICT by tracking overall ICT customer delivery projects and programs to sales realization plans and ICT budgets, clear impediments and manage ICT revenue management post-delivery including billing.

This work is managerial in nature, needs to coordinate with other Managers inside the ICT organization and support teams from from EITC and partners and may require discussions, negotiations up to Senior Director & VP levels for approvals.

Requirements

Minimum experience:
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant ICT experience with at least 5 years in a sales and/or business operations management capacity in Technology industry.
• Demonstrated business operations and/or support experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project delivery
• Experience at working in a fast paced team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Advanced user of MS Office suite

Minimum education:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Telecom or Engineering with preference for post-graduation

Knowledge and skills:
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Must have a high level of computer literacy and experience of using MS Office especially MS Excel as advanced user.
• Strong proficiency in communication, negotiation, project scope and management skills
• Time management, efficiency, the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong project management and delivery experience, ideally in the ICT products and services

• Strong organizational commitment, achievement motivation and flexibility with an ability to work under pressure and to tight/challenging deadlines
• Highly organized and self-driven with strong project monitoring, execution, implementation & deliverables management skills
• Strong ability to think A to Z and identify risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints impacting any bids undertaken
• Demonstrable experience and capability t using a credible Project Management Methodology with a track record of delivering ICT programs or projects.
• Possess sound understanding of concepts and principles in bid management and a basic knowledge in other subjects or disciplines, which are relevant to the content of the bid.
• Effectively employs communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence with a growing ability to engage and inspire clients at peer level.
• Effective ability to manage and direct selected stakeholders
• Creative, adaptive, flexible and responsive to changing organizational needs
