Job description / Role

A leading financial service industry based in Dubai is looking for Manager who would assist the VP of Strategy in helping drive its intelligence around industry, market and economic trends .The position would also undertake business and economic research to give an edge in though leadership on emerging areas of development in the MEASA region.

Ideal candidate
- Should drive the operational and strategic success working closely with other stakeholders including Accenture, Mentor Institutions and other partners
- Undertake research to identify and generate "buy-in" of Leadership to business opportunities, arising out of changes in the environment – including economic, political (like Brexit), technology and business.
- Help the VP Group Strategy in conducting analysis of potential challenges and opportunities for the centre towards realising its future goals. This would include developing annual reports on industry trends and emerging trends and analyze their impact on the centre.
- Assist on Legal, Policy & Regulatory requirements to enhance the attractiveness across all emerging segments.
- Assist in driving market development agenda within the centre on all relevant and emerging projects by undertaking quality business and economic research & analysis including proposition development projects such as pension funds, ETFs and small fund plug n play platforms

Requirements

Experience:
- Financial Services experience and exposure to Financial Technology sector in developed markets a must. Preferably with direct investment exposure (VC) or from consulting background.
- Passionate about the impact of technology in changing the landscape of financial services.
- Broad understanding of financial services across business, regulatory and legal parameters ideally as a consultant.
- At Least 6 years of work experience
- Preferably has global exposure working in other leading financial centres. Has a working understanding or genuine interest and knowledge of emerging trends in financial services driven by technology.
