Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Provide Techno-functional leadership to development, Implementation and support team(s)
• Co-ordination with product vendors / cross functional teams and other internal/external stake holders in large healthcare IT implementations
• Lead 10-15 resource team to design, develop and document software products using established practices and meet timelines/commitments of development and implementation projects
• Should be able to lead large scale integration projects
• Identify Process Enhancement opportunities and propose implementation plan with senior management
• Research, validate, recommend and help implement strategic initiatives around technologies and process transformation
• Help support and operations teams resolve critical production issues
• Self-Motivated and lead the team to learn and implement new solutions around mobility, data science, population health management etc.
• Work independently with a moderate level of guidance from senior management
• Strong organization, time and project management, people management skills
• Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in her/his work, and has experience of leading and inspiring others to new levels of effectiveness and operational impact
• Results-oriented person passionate about making a real impact and change in the healthcare world
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
• Weekly/Monthly review meetings with senior leadership team

Requirements

• MUST have Bachelors or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
• MUST have 10+ years IT experience primarily in healthcare provider space
• MUST be presently in the role of a Healthcare PM / Sr. PM since last 7-8 years
• Must have solid experience in leading and managing large effort Healthcare software development / Implementation / Integration / Support projects
• MUST have worked with distributed teams across multiple geographies
• MUST be familiar with health care standards and/or formats like ICD, CPT, HL7, DICOMM, X12, CCD etc.
• Healthcare experience MUST include- EMR/ EHR, mobile health app development, Telehealth, Remote monitoring, Healthcare Analytics or similar other core Health IT application development/implementation
• Should be familiar with Health Insurance Domain, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) billing, medical coding systems etc. and their implementations
• Should be extremely familiar with the Healthcare Compliance (like HIPAA for US healthcare) and other regulatory framework. Any Compliance related certification is plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
