Job description / Role
This opportunity is with a Large Holding Company based in Abu Dhabi.
As a Manager Learning and Development, you will be responsible in managing and developing the Learning and Development function to create compelling and sustainable development programs for all employees through driving various aspects, including: talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, assessments, career management, competency assessment and learning and development. You must be updated in the current trends and knowledge of effective learning and development methods and have an experience in project management and budgeting.
Requirements
You will conceptualize and design content, format, and structure of learning and development programs, develop blended learning solutions using a variety of learning methodologies, execute the complete training cycle including needs analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of technical and non-technical trainings and monitor performance of employees and ensure the right measures are taken. Assess the success of learning and development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
To be successful, you should have minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in Learning and Development, preferably within the Banking, Oil and Gas, Information Technology and Telecommunications industry having strong knowledge of the technical training process. Having a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or any related course with excellent verbal and written English and Arabic communication skills.
