Job description / Role
The purpose of this position is to manage the payments operations team and to ensure the integrity, efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and systems on customer financial transactions impacting both the Financial Accounting records (general ledger) and customers\' payment life-cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or in Accountancy
- Professional Accountancy Certification (CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent qualifications)
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a similar role in Finance or Telecommunications industry
- Experience in managing a team(s) and working directly with people at senior levels
- Experience working on projects related to process automations,-
Knowledge & Skills:
- People management
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally
- Negotiation and collaboration skills
- Excellent business writing and professional communication skills.
- Technical skills: Understanding of IT Systems and complex systematic integrations including ERP Financials, Point-of-Sale (POS) and/or Payment Gateway (PGW) systems
- Business process design, review, and assurance/compliance
- Customer centric
- Proficient in English
