Job description / Role
Client is a leading bank based in Dubai is looking for a Manager for Risk Analytics - Retail Banking. The position is responsible for ensuring that all Risk Analytics are carried out outlining various aspects of risk on asset quality. The position will be supporting the VP of credit policy.
The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
* Analyse the portfolio of Loans, Advances and Cards offered by the bank and provide feedback for credit policy formation
* Ensure customer databases are made available for Cross programmes and limit increase programmes on an on-going basis
* Implement an escalation procedure for the reporting and resolution of specific breaches of policy, key risk issues and control failings and weaknesses
* Develop early loss mitigation opportunity models and process. Practice an objective portfolio management process, which enhances the quality of credit policy, underwriting and collection to industry best levels.
Requirements
* University/ Degree Educated
* Minimum 8 years' experience within credit risk analytics
* Strong MIS skills
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
