Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):

• Support to ensure daily basis activities of the operational sales support function for Channel Partners. Prepare regular reports and charts/slides for Channel Partners performance.
• Monitor and ensure channel partners commissioning payments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prospect and acquire new resellers which will generate new opportunities for the sales team as well as maintain business relationships with key channel partners
• Ensure that the channel partners are providing enough sales force to be able to cater to ETISALAT requirements and to ensure that ETISALAT has a well-established & scalable route to market by getting “more feet on the street” and work with them to generate leads and opportunities
• Manage the on-boarding process for new channel partners
• Act as the primary point of contact between Etisalat and its channel partners, consultants and technology partners
• Regularly communicate with channel partners, consultants and technology partners to maintain a strong business relationship
• Must meet or exceed the channel sales target in terms of revenue, new customer’s acquisition, VoA & customer satisfaction index
• Reviews the sales strategies set by the channel partner and enhance them if required
• Ensure that the channel partners and all their sales force have up to date knowledge of the new products, features, roadmap, etc.
• Monitor the competition’s channel activity and strategy
• Provide regular training to the channel partner
• Interfere in closing deals when required & supervise the processing until the delivery
• Develop, manage & report on the partner sales funnel
• Work hand in hand with partners through entire sales process including sales collateral, joint customer presentations, tender preparation, negotiation, contracting, etc.
• Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• The candidate should have a minimum of 7-8 years’ experience preferably in telecom industry in Marketing / Sales Support
• The candidate should have good communication skills
