Synopsis

To act as a functional lead to design, develop, and implement Total Rewards and HR policies, ensuring attraction and retention of employees with a focus on financial sustainability. Maintains and updates all policies whilst ensuring alignment between Company policy and UAE/international regulations.

Accountabilities

- Ensure all Total Rewards and HR policies are managed, maintained and up to date whilst being compliant with Etihad Aviation Group policies and aligned with UAE/international governmental regulations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal legislations, state legislations, European labour laws and all other international legislations that may affect compensation and benefits policies or practices.
- Engage with senior management across the Company and arrange regular meetings with them in order to hear the 'Voice of the Customer' and ensure that there is alignment and collaboration with HR resources of the concerned territories. This will require 30% of normal working time on Duty Travel.
- Provide timely and professional recommendations in terms of pay policies and structural adjustment to Total Rewards & Policies department in order to implement efficient plans of action from a Total Rewards perspective.
- Certified and fully conversant in international contribution/pension plans, tax implications, and local legislations on pay, holidays, etc.
- Work closely with members of the Total Rewards & Policies team to ensure the term sheets are regularly monitored and updated

Requirements

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree within a relevant discipline and an HR professional certification preferred.
- Expert in compensation, benefits and international policies with 5-7+ years' experience of which a significant time was within in global organisation.
