Managing Director – Driving School

Job description / Role

To set up, manage and be responsible for the Driving School. The role is a Managing Director role for the establishment of a new driving school in the UAE. This is a start up business with finance provided.

The set up includes assisting in sourcing of land, RTA approvals, licenses, set up of staffing, procurement of vehicles, marketing of the school. Once the school is set up and active the role will then move into the lead position of the school responsible for: delivery, P&L, business development, budgets, staffing and overall management.

Requirements

The person must be driven, capable and with relevant UAE experience. Must have proven capability around delivery, leading and establishing the school and able to work on their own to set up the school. Must be able to manage the delivery of the operations of a driving school in this region. Must be a leader! Must have awareness of new technology within driving schools and all legal standards. The Driving school will be a market leader and therefore the Managing Director must drive this.

Must be proficient in Arabic, Finance, Operations, People, Strategy.

The salary will be commensurate with a startup business with clear KPi’s and bonus structure around delivery of the project through all phases.
