Job description / Role
Position: Managing Director for Greenfield 650,000 m3 (with potential to expand to 1.2 million m3) oil storage terminal in Fujairah, UAE.
MD Position: Based in Dubai
Effective : Immediate
Reporting: to President of sponsor company
Responsibility:
- Ensure successful completion of the terminal (land secured). This includes financial close, hiring of entire team and successful commissioning
- Ongoing management of the terminal post commissioning
Sponsor:
Singapore based company and lead developer of a similar 1.2 million m3 oil storage project in UAE
Compensation:
Attractive remuneration and bonus
Requirements
- Must have minimum 10 years experience as commercial and or business development manager for major independent oil storage facilities or companies (and was preferably based in the Middle East for most of this period)
- Extensive relationships and network with oil traders, NOCs, Oil Majors who are involved in the movement and trading of oil in the Middle East
- Demonstrated success in concluding oil storage contacts for minimum 1-2 years tenure with Major oil companies or traders
- Good leadership and inter personal skills
- Good understanding of terminal operations
- Fluent in Arabic and English
