Managing Quantity Surveyor- Major Infrastructure Project - Dubai

We are currently resourcing on behalf of a major civil engineering project in The Emirates for a Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Our client requires an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. Ideally you will have a wealth of commercial experience gained from the civil engineering sector and will have fulfilled a MQS role previously.

The managing QS we are seeking would be responsible for coordinating 3 senior QS's and liaising with the subcontractor manager to ensure the valuations are produced on time and ensure variations are both recovered where applicable and agreed accordingly. Therefore, you must be able to demonstrate experience in this key area.

Requirements

* 10 years + working experience.
* Civil engineering background with major contractors.
* Specialist experience in commercial aspects of infrastructure projects.
* Project controls experience would be advantageous.
* Managerial / Supervisory experience.
* Degree qualified is essential.
* Experience in the Middle East is beneficial.
