Job description / Role

DarkMatter recently unveiled the world's most secure mobile phone - KATIM (www.katim.com). Developed ingeniously to defend against the most advanced modern mobile security threats, a personal vault for private communication. We are looking for a Test Engineer with experience of Android hardware to contribute to this world leading product.

As a Manual tester (FTC), you will:

- Take ownership and accountability of overall product and service quality
- Define quality assurance goals and metrics
- Develop and execute test cases and procedures from use-cases and requirements
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test procedures
- Partner with development and program management for timely resolution of defects

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- 5+ years of security SW engineering and mobile or desktop application development or QA engineering
- 5+ years of SW development/QA team management
- Proficient in C/C++ or Java
- Proven ability to manage/lead security SW product engineering from concept to delivery
- Experience with building manual and automated test plans and procedures
- Experience with leveraging automated testing for continuous verification and delivery
- Leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to grow a QA team
- BA/BS or equivalent professional experience
- A desire to innovate in the UAE
