Marine Lubricants Sales Trader- Middle East & India

Our Client is one of the World’s largest resellers of marine fuels and is seeking a Marine Lubricants Sales Trader with at least 3 years related work experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prospection of the marine accounts (owners, ship managers, fuels power generation) within assigned area.
• Development of a marine lubricants customer portfolio within assigned area.
• Marine Lubricants sales (spot and contract) within the Middle East and India.
• Support in terms of marine lubricants (basic technical, supply, recommended pricing) to bunker traders within assigned area.
• Close coordination with other members of the global lubricants team and support to supply/ development of Company marine lubricants supply network.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:
• At least 3-4 years of successful experience in sales within a marine lubricants physical supplier, preferably a Major or at least a Regional / National Oil Company. (essential)
• Marine Engineer / Mechanical Engineer or Commercial / Business Graduate with exposure in Oil / Shipping.
• Previous experience in shipping is a strong plus.
• Basic technical knowledge in marine lubrication.
• Previous exposure to shipping customers within assigned areas a strong plus.
• Knowledge of shipping / shipping market/shipping economy is a strong plus.
• English and Arabic fluency mandatory, additional regional language a strong plus.

• Customer care and relationship oriented.
• Persistency and high level of motivation, self-starter.
• Structured and capable of presenting at various decision levels within customers targeted.
