Charterhouse is working with a long established shipping company that is looking to bolster its in-house legal team with the addition of a Maritime &Shipping Disputes Legal Counsel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Shipping Litigation Lawyer to make the move into an in-house position in Dubai, to build their long-term career. The role will be the first port of call for legal advice, managing and coordinating the company’s approach to litigation and other proceedings relating to the company’s activities. On that basis, covering a broad range of pre and post litigation matters, covering dry and wet shipping, marine insurance, maritime pollution, vessel seizure and release etc.

Requirements

The firm is interested in speaking to a Common Law qualified Maritime & Shipping Resolution Solicitor with 3 – 5 years + high quality experience gained at an international / legal directories ranked law firm, dealing with cases independently from start to finish. This an interesting opportunity for a Lawyer already based in the UAE or a high calibre candidate looking to relocate to the region. Competitive remuneration and package on offer.
