Marketing and Business Development Executive

Job description / Role

Our client, a well-known Furniture brand, is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Executive to based in Dubai to handle the business development and outdoor marketing. They are looking to hire an experienced candidate with a background in furniture marketing or a related field.

Your primary job responsibility will be scheduling, meeting with high-end clients, and explaining the furniture designs. You will be provided internal leads but lead generation is also a part of your job responsibility. Experience in making marketing materials is preferred. Someone who understands the basics of photography and editing will excel on the promotional side.
Excellent skills in English are very important.

Responsibilities:

- Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by the company.
- Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
- Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
- Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
- Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
- Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
- Making creative promotional materials for self and team.

Requirements

- Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
- Extensive sales experience in furniture, retail or related field.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour.
- Professional yet affable disposition.
- Great networking and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of photography and editing preferred.
- A knack for writing promotional materials
