Marketing Assistant/Coordinator

Job description / Role

Campaign Planning & Implementation
• Assist in developing and maintaining quarterly and seasonal promotional calendars.
• Coordinate and implement promotions tailored to individual customers’ needs.
• Liaise with accounts and sales departments to activate promotional mechanics.

Supplier & Customer Coordination
• Communicate with customers to relay promotional plans and gather feedback.
• Coordinate with supplier brand teams and in-house designer to develop marketing materials.
• Ensure all promotional activities are executed per agreed timelines and terms.

Tracking & Reporting
• Track promotion implementation across wholesale customers and create performance reports.
• Analyse effectiveness of campaigns and report KPIs to the Marketing Manager.
• Maintain organized logs of all offers, campaign assets, and communications.

Cross-Department Collaboration
• Work closely with procurement, accounts, and sales teams to align on marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate campaign timelines and updates with internal and external stakeholders.

Communication & Administration
• Draft basic communications (emails, WhatsApp messages, internal memos) as needed.
• Represent the brand with professionalism in all external communications.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing support or coordination role.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Ability to work independently after training and manage follow-ups with partners.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have:
• Experience in the wholesale, distribution, or FMCG sector.
• Familiarity with trade marketing, retail promotions, or brand activation.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and project management tools.
