Reports To: Executive Director

Summary: Manages design and establishment of planned marketing programs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Collaborates with Sales Teams to devise, plan and implement a marketing strategy that increases market share and generates new markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include all but not limited to:
• Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
• Provide strategic direction and course of action to ensure execution & implementation
• Creates implementation plans and proves measurable results
• Develops and executes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Identifies misalignments and gaps; targets actions to support current strategies.
• Uses the marketing mix to promote the exhibition in accordance with the marketing strategy.
• Provide KPI reports for update meetings
• Plan, co-ordinate and review the work of the Department to ensure the most effective use is made of resources.
• Attends regular meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and budgets
• Leads, manages and directs the work of the unit to ensure KPIs are achieved
• Monitor the performance of staff and ensure the necessary direction and guidance are provided.
• Drives reports, project plans, and other papers as required for the Executive Director.
• Helps manage marketing budget.
• Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, and signage.
• Analyses marketing programs, adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
• Plans and conducts market research
• Maintains customer database and approves the use of internal and external mailing lists.
• Reviews analysis of marketing surveys on current and new product concepts in order to recommend future product development.
• Oversees post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs and reports on new and retainer clients.
