Marketing Manager - Ghawali

Retail and Distribution Group based in the MENA Region, in 12 countries, with 12, 000 employees. We operate in the avenues of fashion, beauty and media. We have over 100 entities under our umbrella Group called 'Chalhoub Group'.

What we are looking for: Brand Marketing Manager- Ghawali

Ghawali is a luxury own concept fragrance brand from the middle east with a differentiated experience that revolves around Oriental fragrance rituals. The ambition is to be an internationally renowned brand and we are seeking a Marketing Manager with demonstrable regional experience in developing and implementing brand strategy that can lead us to this goal.

Ghawali is a new business and we are looking for someone who can implement strong brand building activities to create awareness, emotionally connect with the target audience, and to drive foot fall into the stores across the regional network.?

What you'll do
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating the brand strategy in the region to meet business objectives and for defining and developing the adapted marketing tools to implement the brand strategy.
You will also maintain the brands standards applied across all the activities and will be working closely with bloggers and agencies, using not only online, but offline marketing channels.
You will have freedom of execution for the own concept brand and the opportunity to grow with the business as the brand grows.?You will gain deep insight into the Oriental fragrance rituals, GCC culture and getting to know the regional buying and consumption habits.

• You will develop the adapted tools to implement the strategy by market/store by ensuring all communication objectives are clearly and effectively linked back into the brand objectives (Digital, Direct Marketing, Media, and PR).
• You will present the marketing action plan to the retail marketing on new launches, marketing tools, brand training, events calendar
• You will use marketing KPIS to set realistic but stretching targets for the team, brand and activities and suggests optimizations on actions and tools.
• You will recruit a team of 3 executives to assist in digital marketing (performance marketing), social media, and VM?
• You will work internally with the product development team, finance, retail marketing team, and e commerce teams.
• You will work externally with ad agencies, media buying agencies, PR agencies, influencers, media, other brands for potential collaboration, freelance photographers

Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role

The role is the most important factor in the success of the business. The impact will be instrumental in building the identity of the brand and reaching the targeted consumers across all touch points with a unified message.
• You will be degree educated or have a certification in Marketing.
• You will have 7+ years of experience in brand creation, brand launching, within the beauty industry.
• You will be experienced in online and offline marketing
• You will be flexible to travel 3-5 days every quarter
