Job description / Role
Our client is a world leading consumer electronics and mobile communication company.
As a Marketing Manager based in UAE, this role will be responsible for leading marketing efforts for the company’s products across GCC countries.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Independently planning and producing high-quality regular social content and publishing global and local product/brand promotion graphics according to product timeline.
• Creating Public relations literature and media relations support.
• Coordinating the regional rhetoric and key project communication rhythm and evaluating and improving the dissemination effect.
• Leading the development of the explosion and integrated marketing / public relations event communication plan.
• Jointly promoting planning and operations with e-commerce channels such as operators and networks.
• Social advertising design and operation.
• Communication and coordination with headquarters.
• Working collaboratively with leadership to promote and execute the strategic plan for marketing and advertising to build up brand awareness and preference.
• Providing direction and leadership in overall marketing strategy in GCC according to yearly target.
• Developing and implementing brand/product campaigns in regional markets.
• Implementing strategy, creating local market tactics.
• Managing budget and goals.
• Sourcing event partnerships, negotiating terms, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ROI (Return on Investment) evaluations.
• Leading brand marketing communication locally and leveraging marketing activity with brand sales.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be:
• Native Mandarin speaker with fluency in English
• Must hold a BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related major
• Hold 5+ years of Field Marketing or Brand Marketing experience (preferably within telecom or Information technology industry) with budget accountability
• Strong experience and geographic knowledge in UAE / GCC market
• Proven track record of success with event planning and/or project management.
