Job description / Role
The person selected for this position will be responsible for achieving revenue goals by developing and executing sales and marketing plans, in-person sales meetings and networking, marketing the entire restaurants chain and functioning as a public relations spokesperson to promote the restaurant chain locally.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Setting business development and strategy for the restaurant chain
Extensive analysis covering all sales aspects of sales and preparing the marketing plan in line with the brand vision and objectives
Setting up overall business strategy-product development, communication strategy, budget, calendar, events calendar, digital media, social media and promotional activities with local media and media agencies
Manage and update of restaurant’s content on the website
Manage an events schedule to maximize yield and ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
Attend events, as required, in order to build relationships with a network of potential customers and develop possible business opportunities.
Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:
Degree-level qualification in a hospitality and/or marketing field
Minimum 5 years Experience in a sales role with a proven track record to close a sale
Excellent selling and networking capability
Knowledge of local market
Knowledge of hospitality
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
Passionate about networking and interacting with people
