Marketing Manager - Pharma/Nutrition - Abu Dhabi Based

Our client is an international business with multiple branches. This particular role is based within the Abu Dhabi office.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will effectively market the company's products to increase market share, through advertising, promotion, market surveys, new product development and all other means available. Work closely with Sales and other departments to maximise sales and develop new products and markets with the minimum investment in marketing activities.

Responsibilities include;
- Effectively marketing products/services by conducting market research, overseeing product development and design, setting prices, launching new products, overseeing advertising campaigns and monitoring sales performance.
- Developing and implementing a marketing and sales strategy in order to meet established sales or market share targets.
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate domestic and international market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the products/services.
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas, identify product/service features that need to be changed to meet customer needs, and liaise with other areas of the organization (for example manufacturing, supply chain and quality control) to implement these changes.
- Work with sales department to prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts, and adapt plans to improve the sales performance of the products/services.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of functional experience out of which 2 to 4 years should be in an equivalent management level and experience within the Middle East.
- Prior experience in Pharmaceutical or Nutrition Marketing background
- Proven experience of developing and implementing a marketing and sales strategy in order to meet established sales or market share targets.
- Applicants must be currently based within the Middle East
- Willing to work from the Abu Dhabi offices - Flexibility to commute from Dubai in the short - medium term is ok.
