Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and tracking marketing programs that increase brand exposure and restaurant sales.

He or she will require a thorough understanding of business and marketing strategy and will become the brand ambassador for the company Restaurant Management and its restaurant concepts. This includes excellent communication skills with restaurant staff, vendors, food writers and bloggers, Newspapers, local businesses and the community. It also requires the ability to project manage, multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Principal responsibilities
- Understand and communicate marketing strategy and objectives to the GM, restaurant management and staff
- Drafting, implementing and monitoring annual marketing budget
- Plan and execute sales building activities that will build relationships, which will increase customer count, check average and sales
- Deploy web, social media, email, collateral, merchandise, and other communications effectively
- Establish goodwill and build relationships within the community and with SRM’s overall fast casual, QSR food concepts
- Identify and capitalize on strategic partners that complement the SRM’s brands
- Plan and execute marketing events in coordination with restaurant management and staff
- Collect and analyze data to improve marketing programs
- Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned
- Must clearly be able to demonstrate growth in sales as a result of marketing efforts

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or similar discipline
- 3-6 years professional experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Advertising, or Publishing with a demonstrated track record of driving results
- Industry experience in managing/ marketing fast casual restaurant concepts with opening experience is preferred
- Should possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be creative and innovative with marketing approaches
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Microsoft Powerpoint is a must)
- Knowledge of online technology and implementation with particular interest in blogs, social networks, virtual worlds, wiki’s, mobile and other emerging trends- including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter, Instagram, and Wordpress etc.
- Superior knowledge of Social Media landscape, networks, toolsets
- Management of a professional blog for an organization and/or business
