JOB SUMMARY
Amazon is seeking a creative, goal-oriented and highly entrepreneurial person to join our exciting and fast-paced 3P UAE team. Our team is growing and if you are passionate about improving our selection, price, and convenience through key partnerships, this role may be a great match. The account management role offers the unique opportunity to own a sizable portion of category with respect to launching and managing new selling partners and driving key programs for the assigned category. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership/commitment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitoring competitor efforts
• Managing end to end relationship and performance for top souq.com marketplace sellers/category in your portfolio.
• Managing end to end relationship of strategic groups along with expansion of their portfolio available to souq.com
• Working to develop new products based on Amazon data, market trends and customer needs analysis, and build business cases for each
• Exceed your targets for revenue, selection and customer experience metrics (cancellation rate, late shipment rate etc) for the sellers in your portfolio
• Collaborating with and influencing a number of internal and external stakeholders such as supply chain, sourcing, marketing, legal, tax, product compliance
• Understand and resolve seller issues by working with internal and external teams.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years of experience of B2B account management in ecommerce, consumer internet or retail industries.
• Good knowledge of MS excel and its functions.
• Experience using metrics to drive business decisions
• Functional knowledge of Arabic and experience in Middle East is a big plus.
• MBA from a reputed institute is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Comfortable rolling up sleeves to execute initiatives, perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions
• Skilled in managing multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
