Material Specialist (Mandarin Speaking)

Job description / Role

Guildhall is recruiting for a Material Specialist on behalf of a reputable construction and engineering company for their project at Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, issuance, and record-keeping of materials and equipment
- Ensure all material and equipment transactions comply with company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular stock checks and prepare accurate inventory reports
- Coordinate with the project team and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Support the smooth operation of the material supply chain on site

- Currently based in the UAE with valid work eligibility
- Proficiency in spoken Chinese (writing skills a plus)
- Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn
