Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work without direct supervision as part of a self –managing team.
- Oversee the day-to-day ITP activities of the airport, to ensure safe cost effective maintenance accordance with SAOM/SAMM procedures as are current at the time.
- Carry out daily and weekly quality control checks and maintenance checks as laid down in the manuals and keep appropriate records.
- Ensure that the fleets are able to meet the operations requirements at Dubai Airport in a safe and timely manner that enhances the company’s reputation as a professional supplier of services.
- Support the supervisors /superintendent for planning the daily maintenance if necessary
- Maintain proper inventory control, adequate spares to tackle all kind of emergencies
- Keep the entire fleets visual image in accordance with in Global standards

Mobile Assets:
- 14 Hydrant Dispenser
- 3 Refuellers
- 3 Pick-ups
- (Total replacement value of assets US $ 1,500,000.00)

Fixed Assets:
- Workshop & Equipment
- Assist as required maintaining Data capturing system
- (Astranova) including hand held computers & printers.

SAOM-SAMM
- Ensure all maintenance tasks and Quality Control tests and checks are carried out in accordance with various schedules.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks and Quality tests and checks are documented in accordance with Company’s requirement, by maintaining individual asset records.
- Commission all new assets in accordance with the Manufacturers instructions.
- Maintain all the equipments accordance with SAMM/SAOM
- Maintain a treacle record of all maintenance related job
- Perform Daily/weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly checks with out and delay
- Maintain efficiency of operation to an agreed standard.
- Ensure correct Meter reconciliation on a daily basis.
- Report all vehicle defects, accidents, and incidents, PIs & NMs.
- Liaise with Jiff/DCA on hydrant defects, ITP building maintenance etc.
- Respond DCA / Airlines request for information & other services.

Equipment design
- Maintain creditable relationship with Primary Equipment Suppliers to ensure technical innovations are advised to Supervisors/ Manager and support for problem solving is maintained.
- Assist the Supervisor/Manager in reviewing equipment specifications to ensure fit for purpose equipment is procured that can be maintained and operated in the UAE.

Safety Meetings & Training
- Maintain awareness of advances in safety systems and designs, and get updated of new initiatives and developments in industry.
- Participate in all safety meeting conducted; seek training for safe operation of new generation equipments, covering refresher training on vehicle operation and any new equipment or procedures.
- Monitor and report any trends in equipment failure with a view to modifying operating procedures or equipment design.
- Demonstrate by example safe working practices.
- Ensure Contractors or third parties under his direction are aware of and operate to Company standards with respect to Health & Safety.

Operations Support
- Carry out refuelling duties when required to support operations in critical periods.
- Provide technical and operational support 24 hrs per day as required in the event of an equipment failure or break down.

Requirements

- Work experience as an equipment/ vehicle mechanic
- Diploma in mechanical / automobile will be preferred
- UAE Heavy driving license holder will be preferred
- Good English
- Good knowledge of computers
- UAE Light Vehicle driving license mandatory
Salary - AED 5000-AED 6000
