Mechanic

Job description / Role

1) Preventive, corrective & emergency maintenance of diesel engine–driven dewatering pumps & generators
2) Routine servicing: oil change, filters, belts, cooling systems
3) Diagnose & repair engine issues (starting, overheating, noise, vibration, smoke)
4) Maintenance of dewatering/stormwater pumps (impellers, seals, bearings, pipelines)
5) Ensure proper pump priming, alignment & discharge pressure
6) Attend breakdowns & emergency call-outs (rain/flood situations)
7) Coordinate with electricians for panels, alarms & safety interlocks
8) Report equipment condition & spare parts requirement to supervisor

1) ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Diesel Engine Technology
2) 5+ years hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance
3) Mandatory experience in dewatering / stormwater / construction pumps
4) UAE Driving License – Manual (Compulsory)

2) Independent troubleshooting ability
3) Site-based, outdoor work
4) Willing to work shifts, nights & emergency duties
