WSP in the Middle East is seeking talented and passionate Emirati mechanical and electrical engineers to join our team. Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems and projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze and solve technical issues in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Participate in the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project plans.
• Contribute to the testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance with technical standards.
• Support the preparation and review of project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Gain exposure to various stages of project development, from conceptual design to final execution.
• Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and sustainability in all engineering activities.

Qualifications

• UAE national (with a valid family book).
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (or related fields).
• Prior internship or project experience in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is preferred, ideally within a similar industry (engineering consultancy, construction, manufacturing, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
