Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Small local Engineering Consultancy requires a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Dubai Office.

- The successful individual will be responsible for the production of design drawings and engineering calculations on a variety of projects throughout the UAE.
- This roles is an office based design role and candidates should be suitable experience in this.
- The role on offer is on a limited contact for an initial two years period. This contact may be renewed/ extended for the right individual

Requirements

To apply for the role you should meet most of the following criteria:

- Be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in mechanical design including 5 years working for an engineering consultancy
- Experience must be in HVAC, Chilled water systems, DX systems and VRF systems
- Must have experience of HAP software
- Must have experience of psychometric charts/ software
- Must be proficient in CAD
- Must be capable of selection and analysis of relevant equipment
- Must be proficient in relevant standards such as CIBSE, ASHRAE & Estidama
