Job description / Role
You would be joining a team of 5 highly qualified and experienced Engineers, whom you would supervise, while you in turn would report directly to the Head of Engineering, who has been with the business for many years and is a true expert in the field.
In your role, you would be reponsible for;
* Designing Conveyor Systems, Steel Buildings & Structures, Design Bulk Handling Equipment, Port Handling equipment, Silos, Hoppers and loading bins.
* Engineering and design for special applications and special non-standard plants
* Static design and review of design structures
* Preparing offer drawings, budget BOQ + pricing
* Creating General Arrangement Drawings, 3D Models, Fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, foundation drawings, spare parts drawings and general project documentation
* Acquiring equipment and required special parts
* Preparing weld maps, weld plans and fabrication instructions
* Reviewing tender files and design in accordance with standards
* On site measurements and on-site trouble shooting
* Proper reporting and following up on issues
