Description

Mechanical draftsman will play a crucial role in preparing precise mechanical drawings and layouts essential for our innovative building projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of mechanical design drawings with applied CAD standard and formats.
• Developing the company’s standard details library.
• Designing ductwork and piping networks of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, LPG, and fire fighting systems.
• Proficient in production of schematic riser diagrams and mechanical plant room layouts.
• Developing drawings according to specifications and direction from the design team.

Requirements

• Diploma in mechanical engineering from a technical college or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering consultancy or construction environment in GCC.
• Expertise in all aspects of mechanical engineering within construction of various types of building and designs.
• Proficiency in working on latest version of CAD; experience with BIM is a plus.
• Awareness of drawings submission requirements to authorities including DCD, DM, DDA, and DEWA.
• Performing drafting and CAD design.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
