Job description / Role
Our client a British owned and managed successful regional engineering consultancy requires a Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in their Abu Dhabi office.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Design of sustainable mechanical HVAC, pluming & fire protection systems
- Preparation of mechanical engineering calculations in support of systems design
- Utilising relevant engineering software
- Working as part of a team
- Attending relevant Meetings
Requirements
- Be degree educated in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or Similar
- Have between 5 years & 8 years consultancy based design experience
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working on GCC projects
- Have a working knowledge of various building services design codes such as British Standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IMC and other International design codes
- Have experience using computer design tools including AutoCad, HAP & IES
