Mechanical Engineer

Job description / Role

Job Purpose:
Responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving mechanical systems and equipment used in the production of white cement.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for cement production.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Manage Mechanical engineering projects and ensure completion of all projects.
- Maintaining records of mechanical activities, equipment performance, and project progress.
- Support commissioning of the plant on time- for the Material Handling, Raw mill section (Roll Press), Pyro section, and Cement mill section with coordination with the internal, and external stakeholders during the project.
- Implement and ensure safety protocols to protect workers and equipment.
- Provide guidance to technicians in the execution of maintenance works.
- Monitor equipment reliability, analyze failures, and implement measures to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.

- B.E Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-8 years of work experience in cement (preferably white cement).
- Understanding of ISO 90001.
- Conversant with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP/ERP.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) for coordination with internal and external stakeholders, as well as planning and organizing skills.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
