Mechanical engineer

Job description / Role

To oversee the management development of all Mechanical systems such as and not limited to, Air condition, Ventilation, Plumbing, LPG, specialist low current systems, Suann and steam, Garbage chute, and swimming pool for high rise towers from its inception through to the completion. Responsibilities to include:

• Design Management and Review of all Mechanical systems design documents for its completeness and correctness
• Management and review of the tender documents, specifications, vendors, value engineering and Authority requirements of all Mechanical systems, ensure accuracy and compatibility with Project goals.
• Oversee the performance of project stakeholders, Contractor, Subcontractors, Consultant and Inspectors
• Review of construction technical submittals such as shop drawings, material submittal, method statement, IRs, as built, O and M, etc.
• Attend and manage meetings with project stakeholders (Contractor, Subcontractors, suppliers, consultant, and specialists) Review and approve Ensure that procurement strategy is practical and efficient
• Conduct periodical site inspections to Monitor the construction progress and ensure that works are carried out as per approved drawings and specification and to the expected standard of Quality

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in high-rise residential and commercial towers.
• UAE Experience in high-rise residential and commercial towers is a must.
• In depth knowledge of Building Services is a must
• Knowledge of current standards, regulations and procedures is required.
• Experience of dealing with contractors and construction activities.
• Computer skills including working knowledge of ACAD is preferred
• Good communication Skill

Salary:
AED 18,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
