Job description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah, working as a consultant representative on-site to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the consultant representative at the site, ensuring quality and compliance in all mechanical works.
• Supervise and inspect construction activities related to mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Monitor progress to ensure alignment with project schedules and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and support for design development and improvements.
• Ensure all works comply with Ras Al Khaimah authority regulations and preferably RAKEZ standards.
• Attend site meetings, provide updates, and maintain clear communication with all project parties.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in site supervision and design, preferably within consultancy firms.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including plumbing and HVAC.
• Previous work experience in Ras Al Khaimah is mandatory.
• Knowledge of RAKEZ regulations and standards is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
• Must be availiable in RAK.
