Job summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced mechanical estimation engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates and proposals for mechanical projects.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for mechanical projects

Calculate material and labor costs, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities

Collaborate with the project team to ensure estimates align with project requirements

Develop and maintain estimating databases and templates

Review and analyze project specifications and drawings

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

3-8 years of experience in mechanical estimation, preferably in contracting or MEP companies

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, installation, and costing

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in estimating software and tools
