Mechanical Estimation Engineer

Job summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced mechanical estimation engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates and proposals for mechanical projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for mechanical projects
• Calculate material and labor costs, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure estimates align with project requirements
• Develop and maintain estimating databases and templates
• Review and analyze project specifications and drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 3-8 years of experience in mechanical estimation, preferably in contracting or MEP companies
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, installation, and costing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
