Employment: Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION

Observe, check and record works execution is in accordance with approved method statement and shop drawings.
Inspect equipment installation, alignment and leveling in gas plant & networks.
Witness the inspections and gas leak tests of completed works with Third Party Inspectors.
Ensure quality control of installations by timely and continuous inspections.
Check instructions are being carried out.
Check services locations and ensure their protection.
Check material delivered are as approved and properly stored.
Assist in review of ‘as-built’ drawings.
Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative.
Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

Engineering diploma or other related technical diploma.
7-10 years of relevant experience in gas plant and LPG network installation for large scale infrastructure projects.
Preferably with experience working on similar projects in Dubai.
Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
