Mechanical Project Manager

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with an international Engineering Consultancy who is looking to hire a Mechanical Project Manager to work out of its Abu Dhabi office. You will provide project management of various engineering services for thermal power plants and renewable energy.

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for feasibility studies, front-end engineering and design studies. You will prepare technical engineering concepts and specifications as well as bids and design reviews. You will also collaborate with the business development team and provide technical knowledge for the tender document.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a relevant Engineering Degree accompanied by proven experience in thermal power plants. You should also have project leadership capabilities and be able to work with multi skilled teams. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in construction/commissioning in thermal power plants along with strong contractual and negotiation skills. It is essential that you are able to read/write in English, speaking Arabic would be advantageous.
