Mechanical Site Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical operations on site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards within the oil & gas industrial sector.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation and commissioning activities at the site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to review designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide practical solutions on the ground.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of mechanical materials and equipment.
- Maintain proper documentation and assist in audits and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer in the oil and gas or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic site environment in the UAE.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards is a plus.

Salary:
AED 3,500 to 4,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
