As a mechanical technician at Eram Talent, you will be responsible for ensuring that the mechanical systems and components of various projects, particularly in the oil and energy sector, are installed and maintained efficiently. You will also work closely with other technicians to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues, as well as recommend effective solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Should have a diploma in mechanical engineering or vocational certificate in an appropriate discipline and a minimum experience of 5 years in mechanical maintenance of equipment similar to those in a large utility company or experience in large petrochemical/refinery facilities.
• Must have experience in the field of repair, maintenance, servicing, and overhaul.
• Should have experience in operation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems.
• Be conversant with the usage of measuring and testing instruments.
• Maintain and repair mechanical systems and components in various oil and energy projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Monitor and inspect mechanical systems and related work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems and recommend effective repair solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics related to mechanical projects.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to provide effective mechanical solutions.
• Participate in the commissioning and start-up of new mechanical systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mechanical technician in a utility industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
