Job description / Role
On behalf of a client, we are currently looking for Medical Claims Administrators to be placed in Dubai.
This position will be responsible for processing healthcare claims and determine the amount of healthcare benefits to be paid for the given portfolio; detailed as below
Healthcare claims processing
• Check eligibility of the insured and dependents
• Check premium status where necessary
• Check claims as per policy requirements
• Update database with information received
• Record claim reimbursement notices on computer system
• Forward payment notices to Claims Manager or senior administrator for validation
• Manage integration of external data provided by third-parties.
Customer care by telephone, post and e-mail
• Identify and distribute mail received y the team
• Find insured member in administrative tool
• Identify administrator in charge of the given portfolio and stamp mail
• Distribute mail
• Answer and forward phone calls
Requirements
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor degree medical field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the same position with a local insurance/TPA.
- Good knowledge of the UAE health insurance market.
Languages
- Bilingual English /Arabic (French is a plus)
Computer skills
- Working knowledge of office automation tools and internet
Necessary Skills and abilities
