Job description / Role
Based on site the Commissioning Manager will report to the Lead Commissioning Manager and Project M&E Manager.
• Implementing project commissioning strategy
• Design and construction commissionable reviews
• Reviewing and commenting on Commissioning Method Statements based on BM standard template
• Produce network logic diagram that will be used as part of the progress reporting to management.
• Preparation and monitoring of project commissioning programme ensuring correct sequence and logic
• Produce monthly commissioning progress report
• Attend meetings as required and issue minutes of meeting.
• Installation Inspections (Commissionable / QA)
• Manage the testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning process
• Provide pro-active leadership of all on site Brookfield subcontractors commissioning teams to ensure timely diligent & logical commissioning progress.
• Close liaison with the construction team in the delivery and monitoring of the works by the sub-contractor and their specialist.
• Witnessing off site and on site testing and commissioning
• Monitoring and reporting of commissioning process.
• Monitoring / tracking of testing and commissioning documentation
• Liaise; coordinate with consultants, local authorities and client representatives to ensure timely sign off of all relevant systems.
• Collate all necessary project completion certificates made ready for Practical Completion application and local authority certificate for occupancy
• Manage & coordinate each subcontractor to up load into our Web based digital Operating and Collate all performance results during commissioning stage on sustainability targets and objectives.
• Management of the Client Familiarisation and Training
• Management of the soft landing and seasonal commissioning process
• Identification and resolution of any issues with post-handover commissioning.
• Provide technical support to project team
• Implementation of Construction site Health and Safety and safe working practises
Requirements
• Extensive experience of the construction M&E sector, with commissioning and handover of large technically complex projects.
• Management of building services sub-contractors, Installations and Commissioning experience
• Ensured successful handover of projects to clients. (Client Training, Commissioning Manual, Operation & Maintenance Manual)
• Reviewed/ Produced Method Statements and Commissioning Procedures.
• Produced Master Commissioning Programmes for large projects.
