Overview

Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize HVAC system performance and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and specifications, collaborating closely with architects and mechanical engineers.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components in HVAC systems, ensuring quality control.
• Perform site inspections and audits to identify and resolve electrical issues during project execution.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project updates effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a focus on HVAC systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in MEP engineering, specifically in HVAC projects.
• Experience working with building energy modeling software and HVAC design tools to enhance project outcomes.
• Knowledge of international electrical codes and standards, with an ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex systems and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design software is essential for project execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
