Job description / Role
Proactive, Reactive and Pre-Planned maintenance (PPM) of kitchen exhaust components, i.e. balancing of impeller shaft, replacement of frictionless bearings, proper rigid mounting of vibratory components with right selection of anti-vibration mounting pads, repairing and installation of exhaust air ducts and routine maintenance following HVAC components.
• High performance Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for the extraction of exhaust contaminants.
• U.V-c lamps for odor control
• Ecology unit including filters inside and their status.
• Extract fan and electric drive unit.
• Proper insulation of exhaust ducting as recommended for fire safety.
• Electrical control panel of the exhaust system.
• Design and selection of HVAC components including filtration media according to the actual requirement.
• Daily and weekly inspection with photo evidence reporting for update about the currently status and the performance of exhaust / extract system.
• Obtaining quotes from procurement department
• Technical evaluation and approval
• Preparation of maintenance documents for monthly audit.
• Coordination with inspector for pre-opening and ceiling closured inspection of exhaust components for Food & Beverage outlets.
• Fire risk assessment and safety as recommended by fire safety regulation
Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• With minimum of 8 years of experience working for the same
• Experience in PPM of kitchen exhaust components is a must
• Experience in maintaining and inspecting exhaust fans (same like in mall food courts) is a must
