MEP Engineer- Construction

Job description / Role

•Coordinate and manage all MEP works on-site ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and client requirements.
•Liaise between design teams, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth information flow and problem resolution.
•Review MEP drawings, specifications, and material submittals for compliance and constructability.
•Monitor the MEP construction schedule, track progress, procured materials with delivery dates as per the baseline program and project life cycle , and report regularly to project managers and senior management.
•Conduct regular site inspections to ensure installation standards and quality control.
•Assist in identifying and resolving any MEP-related issues or conflicts.
•Wide knowledge of the MEP certified vendors in the construction market.
•Ensure that all MEP activities are carried out in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
•Capability to lead , manage and coordinate with the project management team in order to comply with the project milestone in terms of successful delivery dates with the approved quality criteria and set budget.
•Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports for all MEP activities.

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical,or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum of 7 years' experience in MEP coordination within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
•Solid understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and standards.
•Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
•Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and project management software.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
•UAE Driving License preferred.

Salary:
AED 17,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
