MEP Manager

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the design and implementation of MEP systems in construction projects.
2. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the MEP systems meet project requirements and specifications.
3. Reviewing and approving MEP system designs and plans.
4. Estimating project costs and creating budgets for MEP systems.
5. Developing and implementing project schedules for MEP systems installation.
6. Managing and supervising MEP subcontractors and ensuring that they meet project requirements.
7. Conducting quality control inspections to ensure that MEP systems are installed properly and function correctly.
8. Managing and maintaining project documentation related to MEP systems.
9. Ensuring that all MEP systems comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
10. Providing technical expertise and support to project team members.

Salary:
AED 25,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications:
1. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
2. Several years of experience in MEP systems design and installation.
3. Strong project management and leadership skills.
4. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
5. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
6. Familiarity with MEP software and design tools.
