MEP Manager

Job description / Role

Guildhall is seeking a highly skilled MEP Manager for a leading construction company specializing in building construction and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for building construction and infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating with design teams, reviewing MEP drawings, supervising on-site work, and resolving cross-disciplinary construction issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure MEP systems are effectively integrated into construction projects.
- Review and analyze MEP drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Supervise on-site MEP work, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
- Resolve cross-disciplinary construction issues by collaborating with project stakeholders.
- Oversee MEP testing and commissioning processes, ensuring all systems operate as intended.
- Optimize project plans and implement design improvements during the MEP construction phase.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on construction drawings and progress.
- Adapt to flexible work schedules, including the possibility of overtime, to meet project deadlines.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP management within the construction industry, specifically in building construction • and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP testing and commissioning requirements.
- Proven ability to coordinate with design teams and resolve construction issues effectively.
- Skilled in optimizing project plans and performing design work.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
