MEP Planning Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Planning Manager with expertise in MEP construction to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will lead project planning efforts, ensuring timely delivery, efficient resource allocation, and seamless coordination across all MEP disciplines within our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain the integrated MEP schedule in Primavera P6 or MS Project covering design procurement installation testing and commissioning
• Develop, implement and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP construction activities in alignment with overall project goals.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate all activities into the master project schedule.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying potential delays or risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular progress reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct resource planning to optimize workforce and materials allocation.
• Lead project review meetings to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Manage and maintain project documentation related to planning and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to integrate their schedules and monitor their work progress.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Expert use of Primavera P6 MS Project Excel and Power BI
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in planning within MEP construction projects, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong grasp of HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection and ELV systems and their testing and commissioning sequences
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, and related processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards is a plus.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
